Minnesota BHA volunteers gathered  on June 29th in the Superior National Forest in Northeast Minnesota to improve access of hunter walking trails that had become nearly inaccessible for hunting.  The project, taking place on public land, was spearheaded by Minnesota Board Member Timo Rova, who coordinated with staff from the National Forest Service to identify a priority area for restoration. Over the weekend of June 24th, 27 public land enthusiasts from Washington Backcountry Hunters and Anglers and Trash No Land worked with WA DNR to clean a shooting area in Snohomish County, WA.    For the third year in a row, volunteers worked for several hours picking up trash including shells, targets, and large pieces of metal.
