Idaho BHA aims to curb illegal motorized use with use of game cameras

In an effort to encourage responsible off-highway vehicle (OHV) use and fair chase of all game animals the Idaho chapter of Backcountry Hunters and Anglers has started a law enforcement equipment lending program. Idaho BHA recently purchased several Reconyx MP9, MicroFire Professional Wifi Enabled Gen2 Covert IR trail cameras which will be loaned to law enforcement officers with Idaho Fish & Game, US Forest Service and BLM in areas that are experiencing problems with illegal motorized use. ...

Volunteers from Idaho BHA celebrated National Public Lands Day by helping the Boise District of the BLM cleanup multiple sites that had experienced substantial littering and illegal dumping.
