Canada 2019 Federal Election

Canada's hunters and anglers are concerned with a number of wildlife and land-use issues that are addressed at the federal level including: conservation funding, species at risk, and CWD. The outcome of the 2019 federal election will impact the future management of these issues. BCBHA Public Land Clean Up

East Kootenay members held a BCBHA Public Land Clean Up along Fenwick Creek on April 15. Volunteers met to clean up large piles of debris discarded on public lands attributed to historic logging operations. The area was then seeded with a grassland seed. After a wiener roast, the volunteers transported 4 pickup loads and a large trailer of nearly 5,000lbs of the refuse to the landfill.
