Maisie Kroon

Maisie grew up in western Montana and was raised with a deep appreciation for the backcountry. Her love for the outdoors was cultivated in a two-room schoolhouse where science courses featured a two-week-long backpacking trip along the continental divide, and the PE curriculum was skiing in the Pintler Mountains. These days Maisie loves anything that gets her outside, though she's particularly fond of backpacking, whitewater rafting, and skiing. Maisie is currently pursuing a master's degree in environmental philosophy at the University of Montana and hopes to help preserve the backcountry for generations to come.
