Bryan Jones Armed Forces and Stewardship Programs Manager Born and raised in Colorado with a love for the outdoors, Bryan developed a natural inclination for hunting and fly-fishing. This began during his time as a Boy Scout and with the Junior USA Shooting team. After high school Bryan joined the United States Marine Corps as a Navigator/Tactical Systems Operator aboard KC-130 aircraft. His military service allotted for global travel and living overseas. After serving 10 years, Bryan left the service and completed his bachelor’s degree in Fish and Wildlife Management from American Military University. He served as a Ranch Manager in Texas for several years before joining Texas Wildlife Association as the Operations Coordinator for the organization’s youth and adult mentored hunting programs for seven years. While serving in that role, he developed a passion for teaching the value of a strong conservation ethic via work at the Texas legislature and through managing over 200 hunting events on an annual basis. Before joining BHA, Bryan worked as the Natural Resource & Agriculture Specialist and Operations Supervisor for Arapahoe County Open Spaces in the front range of Colorado. Additionally, Bryan serves as an instructor and board member for the Texas Brigades; an organization that focuses on youth leadership development and natural resource education. He recently graduated with his Master of Natural Resource Stewardship degree from Colorado State University. Bryan currently resides in Castle Rock, CO with his wife Christie and their dogs, Norman and Lilu. In his free time, he enjoys outdoor activities in the Colorado mountains, traveling, cooking, and searching for his next great hunting and fishing adventure.
