BHAers Haul Thousands of Bags of Trash off Our Public Lands in September

This September - Public Lands Month - public land owners from across North America heeded BHA’s call to clean up our public lands by hauling off more than 4,400 garbage bags of trash as part of the 3rd Annual Public Land Pack-Out.  Through a combination of individual efforts and 43 chapter-organized events, we were able to leave our public lands in much better shape than we found them.    A big BHA high five goes out to all who pitched in. Kansas State University Celebrates Public Lands Month

On September 28, 2019, the Kansas State University Backcountry Hunters & Anglers club hosted a Public Land Clean-up at Pillsbury Crossing Wildlife Area. This project was in coordination with the Kansas Department of Wildlife Parks and Tourism to remove trash from within and along Deep Creek. Utah State University Public Land Pack Out
