KYBHA Opposes Senate Bill 89 – Surrendering Waters of the Commonwealth

Hunters and Anglers must stop Senate Bill 89 (SB89). SB89 abandons Kentucky’s definition of “Waters of the Commonwealth” contained in KRS 244.1-010, replacing it with the federal definition of “navigable waters” under the Clean Water Act (CWA) 33 U.SC. sec 1362. 2023 Kentucky BHA Year of Progress

2023 has been another year of success and growth for the Kentucky Chapter of Backcountry Hunters & Anglers. KYBHA Peabody WMA Cleanup

  Kentucky BHA completed our third annual Clean Up Day at the 38,700 acre Peabody Wildlife Management Area in western Kentucky on August 13, 2022.  Over 40 volunteers showed up to help, including BHA members, current & former KDFWR commissioners, WMA staff, game wardens, and class 22-001 of US Army Warrant Officer candidates from a nearby regional training center.
