Caitlin Thompson / Thursday, July 18, 2013 / Categories: Media Recap: ID BHA & ITB Dutch Oven Potluck & Archery Shoot The Idaho Chapter of Backcountry Hunters and Anglers teamed up with Idaho Traditional Bowhunters, the Pocatello Field Archers club and Traditional Bowhunter magazine to host a successful archery shoot on Scout Mountain, near Pocatello, last weekend. Archers in attendance ranged in age from 4 to 70, from all over eastern Idaho and beyond. All participated in what turned out to be a really fun weekend, with a variety of creative shooting competitions and lots of informal, fun practice, as well as a "Beer Can Shoot-out" competition, sponsored by Traditional Bowhunter Magazine. A Dutch Oven potluck and campout completed the weekend, with great conversation about the work that BHA is doing, and how we can continue to have an even greater impact, both locally and state-wide. This is definitely an event that we plan to do again next year! For more photos from the event, click here.
