2023 Kentucky BHA Year of Progress

2023 has been another year of success and growth for the Kentucky Chapter of Backcountry Hunters & Anglers. We hosted 15 official events in 2021, 31 events in 2022, this year we are up to 40 official events, one of which is getting ready to happen as of this writing. That is an increase of nearly 30% in one year. Kentucky BHA Collaborates with Army Corp. of Engineers on Public Lands Day!

On September 23rd, 20 members from Kentucky Backcountry Hunters and Anglers Chapter and the US Army Corps of Engineers- Louisville District, joined together to celebrate Public Lands Day for the second annual Buckhorn Lake Packout Event. KY BHA & US Army Corp of Engineers partner for Fish Habitat in Buckhorn Lake

On June 3, 2023, several Kentucky BHA members joined up with some professional Buckhorn Lake Park Rangers from the US Army Corps of Engineers at Buckhorn Lake to create some much-needed fish habitat structures. Mammoth Cave National Park Boundary Adjustment Act
