  The Indiana chapter has had a tremendous start to 2024. Our Events Team organized a slate of events in February that set us on track for another banner year. We kicked things off with a wood duck box build at J.E. Indiana Wetlands Targeted Once Again

TAKE ACTION- Indiana wetlands continue to be in the crosshairs during the 2024 session with HB 1383. Backed by the Indiana Builders Association, state officials are once again reworking classifications of wetlands reducing many of our highly protected Class III wetlands down to just Class I and II.  Wednesday, HB 1383 passed out of the Senate Environmental Affairs Committee by a 7-2 vote despite the majority of the 20 testimonies being in opposition. The bill now goes to the senate floor ...

Indiana BHA Grassroot Impact at J.E. Roush Lake FWA

The Indiana BHA Chapter had a great day of stewardship at J.E Roush Lake Fish and Wildlife Area in Huntington on Saturday, 1/27.  We had 22 awesome volunteers show up to assemble 24 wood duck boxes for this popular piece of public land! Indiana BHA Chapter Leaders attend Developing Thinking Sawyers Training
