Restricting the Ohio Division of Wildlife as the state agency to manage the very resources it is charged with managing is a misstep. Singling out the Chief of the Division of Wildlife and removing his or her decision-making authority in this or other issues is inappropriate and opens the door for management decisions to be more than politically-influenced than is currently the case.
