Jason Meekhof / Tuesday, June 19, 2018 / Categories: Media, Chapter News, State Issues Bad Public Lands Bills Pass Michigan House and Senate Michigan public lands bills SB302, SB303, and HB4475 have passed the state house and senate. SB302, and 303 and HB4475 now move to Governor Snyder's desk. The Michigan Board has submitted a letter in opposition to all these bills as they make it easier for private entities to purchase public land, harder for public land to be acquired and will also result in the removal of berms and gates in many areas increasing open roads and reducing the amount of roadless areas within the state.
