Backcountry Hunters and Anglers’ raffle raises record amount for mule deer conservation in Montana

The Montana Chapter of Backcountry Hunters & Anglers generated a record-setting $56,620 for mule deer conservation by raffling the species’ Governor’s tag. Are hunters satisfied with Montana's elk management? A 5,800-person survey offers answers

The Montana Department of Fish, Wildlife & Parks recently released the results of two hunter surveys. One was sent to 5,000 residents and another to 800 nonresidents.
