BHA Stewardship Report: The Oregon Fence Project

Blazing sun, thick brush, and rugged country. All of these come to mind when thinking of Oregon’s high desert. BHA��s Oregon stewardship project encounters these characteristics daily, as we work towards the replacement of over 20 miles of antiquated cattle fence on public lands. Skeleton Burn Fence Project: Recap

The morning of May 11th was perfect. Blue, clear skies, a cool breeze, and air filled with excitement south of Bend. Twenty volunteers, including members of the local BLM and USFS field offices, came together to for the Skeleton Burn fence pull.
