Members of the Chapter shall be conservation-minded individuals who will commit to actively uphold our hunting and fishing heritage and the ecological health of our wild public lands, waters and wildlife. In general, board members should:
- Expect to spend around 10 hours/month on BHA activities (required use of Basecamp file sharing and communication platform and attendance at monthly chapter calls)
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have an active BHA membership
- Act in good faith and in a manner that the Chapter Leader believes to be in the best interest of BHA and consistent with BHA’s mission and priorities
- Sign a Chapter Leader Service Agreement that includes a conflict of interest disclosure, position description, privacy policy and code of conduct.
- Must be a resident of Colorado
Candidates will be reviewed by CO BHA's Board before a two-thirds Board vote is required for final approval.
