The Colorado State University (CSU) Backcountry Hunters & Anglers (BHA) chapter/club was recognized at BHA’s Collegiate Program of the Month for January 2018. Chapter members started the 2018 spring semester by launching a BHA membership drive. The club hopes to sell 100 BHA memberships, offering BHA’s new calendar, a year’s subscription to Backcountry Journal and a 1-in-100 chance to win a Weatherby Mark V Weathergaurd with a Leupold VX-II scope to those who renew, gift or sign up as new members.

The club has already sold 29 memberships, when they partnered with the Colorado BHA chapter for a Pint Night at New Belgium Brewery in Fort Collins. If you’re interested in purchasing a membership to support the CSU BHA club, visit the club’s Facebook page and/or send an email to coloradostateBHA@backcountryhutners.org. You can contact CSU chapter/club president, Matt Eischens, at matteischens@hotmail.com. Also see this BHA media/blog post from Matt (“What Public Lands Mean to Me,” 10/31/17).
