New England BHA Chapter / Monday, April 15, 2024 / Categories: Media, Chapter News VT Recap: Maintenance Day at Dead Creek WMA April 2024 The Vermont team of the New England Chapter of Backcountry Hunters and Anglers held a Maintenance Day at Dead Creek Wildlife Management Area on April 13th, removing brush and trees on the West Branch dam helping to maintain the dam's structural integrity. The dam creates an 80-acre pond that is well known for its waterfowl hunting and fishing. Special thanks to all that showed up and Amy Alfieri of the VT Fish & Game for helping us set this up.
