Minnesota BHA Chapter / Friday, February 7, 2020 / Categories: Media, State Issues Sign Up to Advocate for Minnesota Conservation Funding The state chapter is organizing a day at the state Capitol for members to meet with legislators on Tuesday, March 3rd. The governor has proposed a bonding bill that includes a major commitment to conservation and outdoor recreation, including the acquisition of more public land. We need to come out and let our legislators know that we support this proposal and how important public lands are to our hunting, fishing, and other outdoor recreation, as well as the long-term economic growth and stability they bring to our state. We will also talk to our legislators about fighting CWD, protecting the Boundary Waters, and maintaining water access while we fight AIS.
