RECAP: SC BHA Squirrel Hunt and Trash Pickup

1C7068FD-9FC8-4A96-B0CC-964007CD72A6.jpegOn February 8, 2025, the South Carolina Chapter of BHA hosted a great day in the woods at Sumter National Forest near Clinton. The event brought together BHA members and families for a morning of squirrel hunting and an afternoon of environmental stewardship.

This event was more than just a hunt for trash and squirrels, it was a demonstration of BHA’s commitment to conserving North America's public lands and waters. By combining hunting with conservation efforts, the volunteers helped safeguard the wild places that support fish, wildlife, and the traditions of outdoor recreation.

The SC Chapter of BHA extends a huge thank you to everyone who attended and looks forward to future events that bring together the best of hunting, conservation, and community.

Stay tuned for more opportunities to get involved, and as always, hunt hard, tread lightly, and leave it better than you found it!
