PA Chapter Welcomes Steve Bousum to board

Steve_Bousum_2.jpegSteve Bousum of Chester Springs, Chester County was recently named to the board of the Pennsylvania Chapter of Backcountry Hunters & Anglers.

Steve is a life-long Pennsylvania hunter and fisherman.  He and his brothers were raised with a conservation mindset instilled by their parents and grandparents, learning to hunt and fish on public land at home in Chester County and at the family camp in Tiadaghton State Forest.

Steve appreciates the wealth of public land opportunities across our country from elk hunts in Montana, setting decoys in a Massachusetts salt marsh, floating the Upper Delaware River, grouse hunting in New Hampshire to tracking deer in Maine.

“Our public lands are a great equalizer, offering experiences only available to the wealthy in other countries. BHA has widened my circle of friends with like-minded, engaged conservationists who share the BHA mission to ensure that the generations following can enjoy our public lands and wildlife in the same way I have. ”

Welcome to the team, Steve!
