While not the exact date of National Public Lands Day, the teamwork and cumulative effort to plant approximately 300 seedlings in about two hours is enough to celebrate this contribution to public land restoration! With coordinated efforts between Boise State BHA Collegiate Club and the BLM, we managed to make a difference on our beautiful public lands, share socially-distanced smiles and conversation, and were provided amazing FREE t-shirts courtesy of the BLM. Many thanks to BLM Environmental Education Specialist, Corrine Roberts, and National Conservation Area Ecologist, Ann Marie, for initiating this event and allowing our members the opportunity for stewardship. We hope to have many more collaboration events in the future!
