It is our understanding that currently the bridges are functional but likely to continue to deteriorate in the coming years. MTBHA recognizes that as these bridges continue to deteriorate there is an increased likelihood of OHV users bypassing the bridges completely and crossing through the streambed, causing unnecessary damage and disruption. In order to get out ahead of this MTBHA believes replacing the two bridges before they are rendered obsolete is an ideal solution that will continue to provide hunters access to prime elk habitat and anglers the ability to chase trout up the West Fork Madison River.
