As a chapter, we feel that it’s our responsibility to be good stewards of those lands. Workdays are a great way for us to give back and strengthen our sense of awareness and ownership of our public lands and waters. The Indiana Chapter of Backcountry Hunters & Anglers and the IN DNR Division of Fish & Wildlife recently partnered for a public lands workday at the newly acquired Veale Creek WMA. This effort was organized by Indiana Board Member Tyler Webster. The chapter members installed several property boundary markers and a check-in kiosk. The Indiana Chapter has several public lands workdays scheduled for later this fall. We need your help! If you’re interested in volunteering for the upcoming workdays or have a project in mind, please reach out to the chapter. You can contact us via email, at Indiana@backcountryhunters.org.Thank you to all of our volunteers, you folks rock!
