Idaho BHA weighs in on BLM management of nearly 800,000 acres of public land

Members of the Idaho chapter of Backcountry Hunters & Anglers crafted and submitted a letter to the BLM regarding the Four Rivers Resource Management Plan (RMP).  The letter was part of the official public comment period for the RMP which will guide future management of approximately 780,000 acres of BLM-managed public lands in SW Idaho. It is not unusual for an RMP to go decades before being replaces with a new plan, so this was a rare opportunity to help steer the BLM plan towards smart conservation options that would be good for wildlife health and hunting and fishing opportunities.  You can read the Idaho BHA letter below.
