California BHA / Thursday, March 31, 2022 / Categories: Media, Chapter News, State Issues Feather River Closure Lifted in California Just a week and a half after BHA and partner organizations submitted a coalition letter (led by American Whitewater) to the Forest Supervisor for the Plumas National Forest, a 2 year long closure was lifted and public access restored to the river. With fishing season just around the corner, we are excited that this iconic river will be open for fishing and boating once again, and we would like to thank the Forest Service for listening to the many voices of our diverse coalition.
