Senator Ron Wyden's O&C Legislation aims to balance the need for protection of backcountry landscapes with a sustainable timber supply for rural Oregon communities.  The balance struck would provide better forage for wildlife, more closely mirror natural disturbances and ensure for the protection of large tracts of secure habitat.
