In Anoka, Minnesota, Hal Herring visits the headquarters of Vista Outdoor to talk with Vista Director of Conservation Ryan Bronson. Bronson, a wildlife biologist by training, brings a unique perspective to the role of hunting and shooting in restoring and building America’s wildlife – both game and non-game species – and their habitats. Bronson talks  habitat and funding for fish and wildlife, Federal’s long history of directly funding conservation and wildlife restoration, Minnesota hunting and fishing, and the critical role of the federal Land and Water Conservation Fund in conserving habitat, upholding public access and bolstering America’s $887 billion outdoor recreation economy.
