On December 3rd BHA members from throughout the West will be flying in to Washington DC to meet with key Congressional leaders to discuss the importance of funding backcountry conservation and access programs. As Congress makes big, tough financial decisions on the course our country will take, it is important that they understand the value of hunting, fishing and backcountry conservation. BHA is working hard to ensure this occurs. Some of the topics that BHA will discuss include: the Land & Water Conservation Fund, the Sportsmen’s Act, and locally-derived wilderness proposals.
