Last weekend, ten BHA members, including three kids, spent their Saturday removing old tree guards and picking up trash at Pipestem Reservoir. After a day's hard work, the group managed to fill several dumpsters worth of trash.

The work day was in partnership with the U.S Army Corps of Engineers, who manages Pipestem Reservoir. Natural Resources Specialist, Jeremy Thury, wrote to the chapter, "I want to thank all of you very much from myself and all Pipestem users. The clean up event went great and far more work was completed than I anticipated. I am extremely grateful for your hard work and commitment to improve our public lands."
