Arkansas BHA Chapter / Friday, April 22, 2016 / Categories: Media, Chapter News Alaska BHA Spring 2016 Update With great sadness the Alaska chapter bids farewell to our long-term chair Mark Richards. Mark has taken a position with an Alaska-based hunting organization, and while he will be sorely missed, he is still very much on the scene advocating for wildlife and hunters alike in the 49th state. Mark is a founding member of AK BHA and has been a tireless champion for wildlife, habitat and hunting since the beginning. Thank you for all you have done, Mark. The Alaska chapter is pleased to announce it will be hosting its first fundraising event in Fairbanks on April 23 at the Blue Loon. Doors will open at 6pm and Bill Hanlon of BHA’s BC Chapter will be telling his remarkable story about finding Kwäday Dän Ts'inch (Long Ago Person Found). Attendees lucky enough to hear Bill’s presentation at the national rendezvous already know what an extraordinary story it is. We’re also pleased to host Land Tawney and Ty Stubblefield from BHA Headquarters and introduce them to BHAers in the Last Frontier. –Mike Rogers Contact Us to learn how you can get involved with Alaska BHA!
