On Saturday, seven public land owners went to town on some invasive weeds at the Summit Trailhead off of the Marias Pass!

The effort was in collaboration with our friends at the Bob Marshall Wilderness Foundation. Together, as part of our annual commitment as Summit Trailhead 'adopters,' we pulled enough knapweed to fill a dozen garbage bags! At lunch, volunteers feasted on homemade wild game pastrami and sausage, and hunters and non-consumptive users alike sparked up some great conversations on what it means to be a 'public land owner,' all while walking the walk.

We can't thank y'all enough for spending your Saturday improving our public lands. A big tip of the hat to Marty Maddalena, Molly Elliott and Jacob Deitz for leading the efforts!
