Katie DeLorenzo is a native New Mexican and avid hunter. She comes from a family of biologists and from a young age was instilled with a commitment to responsible land and wildlife management. Whether it’s a backcountry hunt or archery competition, Katie deeply values the challenge, unpredictability and sustenance a hunting lifestyle provides.
Katie holds a Bachelor's degree and Masters of Business Administration from the University of New Mexico's Anderson School of Business Management with concentrations in Marketing and Policy & Planning. After gaining significant marketing and business experience during a five-year tenure at a boutique ad agency working with clients in industries ranging from healthcare to real estate, Katie made the leap to the conservation space.
Since joining BHA as a volunteer leader in 2017, Katie has risen through the ranks from Chapter Coordinator to Western Field Director. It’s her aim to share the outdoor lifestyle with hunters and non-hunters alike, and have a lasting impact on conservation across the west through her work at BHA.
